CALL FOR HELP FROM MYANMAR FLOOD VICTIMS!
Northern and Western Myanmar is currently drenched in severe flash flooding after weeks of ceaseless downpours since July 16. More rain is to be expected in upcoming days.
This has led to more than 150,000 people in remote areas being homeless, displaced and trapped under landslides. Around 12,000 homes have been robbed away by this disaster and families, children and animals who survived, have nowhere to go as they are being surrounded by fast currents and deep waters. The areas experienced the highest rainfall of 20 years- 8 inches (20cm) according to measurements. Bridges being destroyed, and lack of communication and emergency transportation has isolated them from food, clean water and enough shelter.
Our main objective is to assist with local aid groups and NGOs currently helping at those affected areas as well as the rescure operations needed to help those in urgent need of our help! An eye for an eye, these families and children need you; every dollar of your donation will go directly into facilitate them in this diabolical disaster. Your donation will help make a difference so, please donate and no matter how much it is, it will help these Burmese In Need!
If you have any further enquires on either the donations, the situation of the current disaster or any other questions, please feel free to contact me, Ko Ye (Timmy). News and further information will be updated.
