Markoiro Bunda Gambia
Donation protected
Markoiro bunda, means "˜Helping door' in the Mandinka language of The Gambia. I am a British subject who came to Gambia a year ago returning many times and have now been in the Gambia for 8 months continuously.
We sponsor kids to go to school, families in need, raise funds for schools and equipment and hopefully bring awareness to the plight of the West African people.
In the past year we have sponsored 50 of the poorest of children to go to school, £55 a year gives education, uniform and books.
we sponsor 6 families 3 of which support orphans, both from the rural areas and poorer town areas.
Over the past year, we have sent out donated goods via a shared container which goes to the rural areas of The Gambia.
To continue with our work, we need funding: to keep our kids in school, to enable us to continue with the export of donated goods/ medical supplies, to help with assistance to families both in food supplies and house repairs and to help with the rural schools infrastructure and book supply.
100% of donations goes to the poor and needy in the rural areas or to the funding of the container we are presently organising.
If you wish to sponsor one of our children plse contact me direct, before making your donation.
All updates and pics are posted on our fb page Markoiro bunda Gambia.
any Questions plse do not hesitate to ask. :)
