Mackenzie's Cancer Benefit
Donation protected
Mackenzie Peoples was diagnosed Jan 6, 2012 with embryonal rhabdomyo sarcoma which is a muscle tumor on the right eye lid at the age of 9. She has been fighting this cancer now for two years.
She loves horses, drawing, reading, games, softball, and archery.
Her extended family is giving Mac a cancer benefit to help with her cancer treatment expenses. Both parents work different shifts to be with Mackenzie during her many treatments at Children's Mercy in Kansas City.
Our event will be Saturday 9-21-2013 at North Park (fairgrounds) in Harrisonville, Mo. We will be having kids games, hay rides, cake walk, pie auctions, face painting and much more. There will be beginning square dancing and maybe a little line dancing! We will have concessions and campfire songs. The whole family night is packed with fun things to do . Tickets are $5 per person or $l5 max for the whole family. There is a large handmade quilt raffle and chances for many prizes for ticket holders. Get your tickets before we are sold out for our venue and help us support Mackenzie.
Quilt raffle is $3 a ticket or 2 tickets for $5 and you do not need to be present to win. We will send picture of the quilt to those interested. You must collect your prizes in Harrisonville, Mo. Arrangements for prize winners will be made for those who win but do not come to the event.
