Help us reach out to area residents of city housing projects! Originally conceived in 2010, we are planning to tour NYCHA housing projects throughout 2015. These events are free of charge and will consist of live concerts, food & soda as well as free items to be given away to attendees. This is a powerful night of breakthroughs with the most contemporary music of today, testimonies of deliverance & the word to wrap it all up.
Here's what J-Life had had to say about launching the tour:
"I like to do this because people like a gospel that's tangible. When we did this back in 2010 we reached out to the community and the response was great. I believed in Jesus, the epitome of a tangible gospel, when he changed my life and my frriends around me who were damaged by life's cruel circumstances of neglect, drugs and sin."
NYCHA's Conventional Public Housing Program has 181,581 apartments (as of July 20, 2005) in 345 developments throughout the city. NYCHA has approximately 13,000 employees serving about 176,221 families and approximately 403,120 authorized residents. That is a LOT of people. Again, this is a labor of love. Help us share it with our youth and their families.
