Jess' Consolation Prize
Donation protected
As some of you know, last week my friend Jessica was diagnosed with a Stage 1 (hopefully) recurrence of the Non-hodgkins lymphoma that she had a year and a half ago. Whilst the cancer is currently confined to a lump in her leg, she is now having to receive chemo that is much harsher than the chemo she had previously. As such, I will be supporting her as much as possible. I know the people who know her will, too. All my thoughts go out to her and her family.
As it is, I'd like to be able to support her as fully as possible during this difficult time, and perhaps treat her to some "consolation prizes". I won't say what, cos I'm sure she'll see this page, but the idea is to raise as much as possible, so that a smile can be brought to her face (even though she jokes about it so much).
Surprises that can make someone feel comfortable never go unappreciated, and nor does your help in this matter. I hope that you will at least consider doing this. Jess is a very brave and awesome person. She's not shaving her head for cancer, she HAS cancer, and I think she deserves every bit of happiness that we can give her.
