Help The Martin's Ryan, Jessica, Kinsley

Donation protected
On September 3rd Ryan and Jessica took their 7 month old Kinsley to Baptist Hospital due to her not being able to put pressure on her legs and she wasn't able to sit up on her own anymore. She was admitted to Brenner's Children's Hospital and it took them nearly 24 hours and several diagnostics testing to figure out what exactly was going on with Kinsley. She was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis, which is inflammation in the spinal cord this left her paralyzed from the mid back down. Now if you google transverse myelitis you will see how serious this is and can be. The doctors aren't positive how exactly Kinsley got "TM" but they think she got a viral infection of some kind. They started giving her steroids in her IV hoping this would help. After 5 days of this treatment the doctors didn't see the progression they wanted so they decided to start the second treatment process. The doctors thought that the IVIG would be the best second line treatment for her. After she received 2 days of the IVIG the doctors are going to retest Kinsley and do another MRI to check her progress. After discharge Kinsley will require ongoing physical and occupational therapy and her recovery is unknown at this point. As you all know medical bills, physical and occupational therapy are very expensive. Therefore I feel as a close friend to Ryan, Jessica and the whole family we can help them with some of the cost of the care Kinsley will need. We appreciate in advance any donation you and your family may give. We will keep everyone updated on Kinsley's journey toward recovery.
