I have seen many gofundme campaigns online and never thought that I would have to host one.


"On March 6th, my kitchen and apartment went off in flames.
I rushed for the fire extinguisher but it didn’t unlatch.
So the fire spread.
The entire apartment was covered in black smoke.
In all the chaos, I didn’t realize how much smoke I had inhaled and the burns I suffered.
But God was control. I know it could have been worse.
A lot worse.
When the insurance adjuster told me how I would need to pay, I won’t lie, I almost cried.
I kept thinking, “why me?”
Like I had just left God’s presence on Sunday giving him praise.
Like what did I do to deserve this?
Ultimately, I realized I just needed to be grateful for life and the fact that the fire was contained.
Imagine if we had lost the entire floor, the whole building or a life?
I truly appreciate the support.
Where would I have gone for help or what if my life was lost?
There is a lot to be thankful for and I truly hope that you can help me with whatever you can as I push past this incident.
