Our Competition team is
searching for funds to help our members attend tournaments for the 2013/2014
season. We are taking a team of 14-19 athletes to each tournament this year lead and trained by owner Grandmaster
Lewis, a 7th degree Grandmaster and one of the best martial artists instructor
in the country.
We operate as an non-profit to enable as many students as possible to participate. Funding is generated solely through gifts and fund raisers. Theses funds are used for students and coaches to attend national events, seminars, and local tournaments. Funds are also used to purchase equipment for the school.
Our mission statement is to foster the development of competition level taekwondo in our community without regard for age, sex, or race and to develop elite athletes for both USAT National and International level competition. Also, to establish the highest level of skill, excellence and discipline in both gyroogi and poomsae, to establish a personal level of commitment to overall fitness and to create a learning environment to achieve all of the above while remembering to also have fun training and competing, while following the 5 tenants of Taekwondo - Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control, and Indomitable Spirit.
We recently took 19 players to the Governor's Cup in Lacey, WA on
"‹October 19, 2013 from which the team brought home 16 Gold, 8 Silver, and 6 Bronze medals. This was the second tournament of our season. We look forward to attending the next tournament in Portland in November, State competition in February, and Nationals in San Jose this summer. Please help the team send as many athletes as possible to these upcoming tournaments.
