The Pasadena Family Readiness Group is excitedly planning for the arrival our boat to it's new homeport.
We would like to make homecoming as special as possible for all of our crew members, but especially the 98 young sailors who may not have family members on the pier when they arrive. After a long, stressful period in the shipyard and at sea, these sailors will be transferring from the ship to barracks rooms when they arrive.
We are presenting each single sailor with a box to welcome them to their new home. This box will contain snacks, some essentials for the first night or two and hopefully a gift card from a local business.
Please help us give our single sailors a warm welcome to San Diego!
