USF Business Students "Clipping" Hunger

Tax deductible
We are graduate business students at the University of South Florida and we have a project to make money by next week's class. We have only 1 resource: a single paper clip. In the business world, Kyle MacDonald took one red paperclip and traded up in 14 trades for a house! This project is done by business students around the country. The current student record is $600. Our class group is a combination of students from business, medicine and global sustainability. After much discussion, our group decided to raise capital through crowdsourcing. However, in light of the recent economic situation that our country is in, we felt that we couldn't ask for money without giving it to a great cause.

We believe in the simplicity of togetherness. Simplicity as basic as a paper clip. Just as a simple strip of metal wrapped around itself can hold things together, meals bring families together. This holiday season, we want to bring families together in the simplest of ways and help provide meals to millions of hungry Bay Area families. Our nation's already depleted food banks are going to struggle as more people need their services and more people are unable to give like they might have in the past. One in six Americans or one in five children goes to bed hungry. These families in our community are struggling.

Join us and give, even $1 will help. When one person helps another, it brings us all together. And together, we can fight hunger and bring families together. It's that simple.
