Fund Jesse's International Art Trip

Hello! My name is Jesse Ditkoff and I'm an entering senior at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. For my thesis project I will be visiting eight unique locations around the world, photographing what I see and interviewing those I meet about international relations on a personal level - where they have traveled, how foreigners are received in their country, differences in human interactions, etc. The photos and interview audio that I collect will be compiled during my final semester of school into an interactive computer program where users can explore and 'interact with' the subjects of my work, both seeing real world situations and hearing first-hand experiences.

• Budva, Montenegro
• Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
• Kathmandu, Nepal
• Sihanoukville, Cambodia
• San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

I will be working in exchange for housing in each of the locations, and I have been working all summer (in the first of the 8 locations) to help pay for a new camera body that I will use in my travels. I am trying to raise the money here for a wide angle lens that isn't older than I am, so I can create the work that I think deserves to come out of the effort I am putting into this trip. 
Any excess funds will be put into feeding myself, and on-location transportation, both of which less important than the art I hope to create!
