The Joey Eisch Memorial Fund

The Eisch family suffered a devastating loss on July 24. Their beloved Joey, age 12, was riding his bicycle near their home when he was hit by a truck and taken to Upstate Medical Center with life threatening injuries. Brian and Maria Eisch are now on a journey that no parent should have to endure; their beloved son did not survive his tramatic injuries.
Joey was a student at Sandy Creek Elementary School, where he was on the Sandy Creek Youth Wrestling Team, the Yankees team for Sandy Creek Little League, and a member of The Good Old Boy’s Junior Fishing Club. He also volunteered for the New York State B.A.S.S. Nation. Joey was a wonderful boy who liked to make people laugh, and had a life of opportunity waiting for him. He is greatly loved and forever will be missed!
Joey's father, Brian, is a veteran who was a Master Sergeant in the United States Army. Brian served his country for 20 years. His deployment to Afghanistan from Fort Drum in 2010 changed his life and his family's life. He was shot three times while trying to rescue an Afghan National Police Officer who was severely wounded in an ambush. Brian eventually lost his leg to the injuries he sustained. Brian bravely served and protected our Country and her peoples. It is up to us to show him and his grieving family that we are now there for them.
Please show this amazing family how much a community stands by them through this time of grief and sorrow.
The Joey Eisch Memorial Fund has been created to assist the Eisch family with costs related to this tragedy and to memorialize their beloved Joey.
