Hurricane Harvey Evacuees

Every homeowners worst nightmare is having someone or something destroying their home. Well I am a victim of Hurricane Harvey. My mom is a single mother and she has been through a rough time during 2017 and this hurricane just made it worst. My mom is a strong woman and she has battled financial issues, job issues and recently she lost her grandmother, she was like her best friend and when this hurricane hit, it’s like her heart crushed in a million pieces. It has been so hard for her to get the house back in order especially when FEMA doesn’t give enough money to even pay for the materials to get your house rebuilt, let alone pay for the labor for the fixing. Our house still isn’t finished and we’re missing a lot of key essentials like counters, cabinets, sinks, interior doors, furniture etc, but we had to move back in because we were running out of renal assistance from FEMA. I hope my story gives you a good reason to donate. I’m doing this for my Mom! ❤️
