Ella's Kidney's Need Help

On Wednesday, November 6, 2013, our cat Ella, a 2 year old Birman cat, was rushed into our Veterinarian's office and subsequently stayed for 3 days due to an extremely high WBC of 2300 and her Kidney Enzymes were showing problems.

While there, Ella had x-rays and 2 blood panels done. The results aren't good :(. Her numbers clearly show an infection, but it is what type of infection. She had been put on massive antibiotics to hit the bug quickly. The initial speculation appears to be a kidney infection. She was put on immediate IV fluids as she was very dehydrated.

The 2nd day her follow up x-ray's appeared to show that the gas bubbles from the night before have moved along in her system).



Feline Leukemia has been spoken of quite a bit as her symptoms match some of the signs of feline leukemia.
