Help Me With Unexpected Car Trouble

My name is Jessica Arnold. I work with elderly people with dementia. I love my job, it's something that's extremely rewarding to do, but I live paycheck to paycheck. Unfortunately, when bad things happen, I have no way to save myself. My car just died. It started smoking on the way home and I'm looking at at least $1500 in work just to get it running again, or at worst, having to buy another car. Because I have almost $50,000 in student loans that are past due, I have to pay cash for a new car. I can't afford either option at the moment, I can hardly pay for my own food, much less find that kind of money. I really need help, or I'm going to lose my dream, lose my apartment, my job, lose my patients who I've grown to love as much as family.
