I had a fulfilling career as an iT consultant. But I always loved photography, having the eye for (beauty?) made it easier for me to love taking photographs.
Of course when I was laid off from my IT job I turned to my photography. Unfortunately at first I was not fully prepared with equipment. But I made it work. As my business progressed I took on a cause dear to my heart, "The Next Birthday Project"
My mom has had 5 cancer diagnosis and I wanted to honor her journey. I then realized that I could “pay it forward” for my mom and all the wonderful people we have encountered during her journey, by offering my services to anyone who would like to honor their cancer angels or document their own journey.
I have had offers to travel out of state and out of the country, unfortunately I have had to turn them down as it would take money to travel, as I offer this service free of charge.
I would like to continue my work on this project but again I am unable to continue because of lack of funds. My photography business is still in the “fledgling stages” so I am unable to use any free money to continue with my goal.
I hope you see this project as worthwhile as I do and can help me raise money to continue on.
