Enomoli, LLC is a software startup serving the law enforcement community. So far I have a functioning prototype that is actively being used by a few agencies but I need some help to finish it out the rest of the way.
The core software started life as an Open Source web app that I built and provide to law enforcement agencies throughout the US. In fact, I still teach classes and workshops to help agencies implement the software at no cost from me. Although I provide the software for free, many agencies don't have the resources to implement and maintain the system. Because of this I kept getting asked to provide it as a hosted system. So I did.
Right now I have about $150,000 of my own money and sweat equity into building out the system to date. All the programming and implementation has been done by myself and a couple of awesome programmers. The system is currently being used by about 40 smaller agencies in a limited factor. Although the core is there, I need about $50,000 to finish the rest of the programming necessary for the system to scale. This includes back-end programming as well as finishing out the dedicated phone apps (iOS/ Android).
So, what does the software do and how is it used?
Well, it gives law enforcement a way to log telephonic evidence for investigations. Although there are a lot of good use cases; the current top use is for communicating with Child Predators to build evidence for prosecution via text messaging. I have also seen it used for domestic abuse victims, electronics theft via Craigslist ads, and domestic wildlife poaching/smuggling. I wish I could go into greater detail on all the functionality of the system and how is works; but unfortunately due to the nature of the solution I would like remain vague.
Why don't you just take out a loan/ ask some friends/ etc?
This is me asking friends. I am not a made man and what little I have has already been put into this. I did try and seek VC/ Angel funding for this, but all they want is high-growth multi-stage startups they think will make them billionaires. This is not one of those.
What about marketing/ sales/ support/ etc?
This product is a natural compliment to products and services I sell and support on a daily basis at my full-time job. I have already worked out distribution channels with access to GSA contracts as well as managed support through the company I currently work for. So, I will be selling and supporting this product as part of my day job. Yeah, my employer is pretty awesome like that.
How rich will this make you?
This is more of a goodwill initiative than a "I'm Gonna Be Rich!!!!" one. Yes, it will make money; no, it won't be buying me a Tesla Model S any time soon.
Who exactly are you and why should I trust that you won't just waste this all on hookers and blow?
Well, as a former Reconnaissance Marine having served in both Afghanistan (2001-2002) and Iraq (2003), I am sensitive to the efficacy and usability of investigative tools. I have used that insight to build better, simplier, more effective tools for law enforcement on a daily basis. This is what I do for a living.

This product is not just some random idea looking for an unknown market. This product was born out of my ongoing relationships with law enforcement and the training classes that I teach to help them keep pace with technology. I have a lot of folks relying on me to complete this...I will not fail.
Why trust me? I won't ask you to. A trustworthy man will not ask you to just trust him.
