Proud To Be Me Fashion Show 2015

Hello Friends!
This page was created to help fund the inaugural Bumps & Bundles, Proud To Be ~ Beautiful Me Fashion Show event. This event will be open to 20 special needs children, ages newborn to age 6, for an afternoon of blissful fun!
The children will all be pampered, there will food and beverages for all to enjoy and of course, the kids will have their very own moment to shine on the runway!
Tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the event and all ticket sale proceeds will be lovingly forwarded to The Global Down Syndrome Foundation as well as other non-profit organizations supporting our beautiful children.
This is an event I believe, will lighten many hearts, make for joyous smiles, and is sure to create memories that will last a lifetime!



What has inspired me to do Proud to Be - Beautiful Me, are the children themselves. The world of special needs is something that introduced itself to me personally on July 6, 2010 - the day my first grandchild, Riley Katherine was born. We didn't know she was going to have Down Syndrome until she arrived. We also didn't know how her beautiful soul, enhanced with an extra chromosome. would change us all. She has taught me to love on a level that is so pure and genuine. In every aspect of my life, I wonder what I did before her. I can't help but feel I owe something back to the world for blessing me with Riley, exactly how she is - PERFECT!


I also have a beautiful 7 year old nephew named Aidan, who has a rare chromosome disorder called DUP15q and who is also affected by Autism. He is another PERFECT being who has touched my life and continues to has inspire me with his light as I watch him grow and exceed the expectations given to him.


I own a children's consignment store because I love kids and I am hosting this event because children with special needs are my heart. This is for them.

The Proud To Be~Beautiful Me Fashion Show event will be held
in the Golden High school auditorium. Golden, Co
