Mt. Rainier Awareness Climb Sept. 2014

So my partner at the foundation Kelly Tipple-Moran, myself (Heidi Dawson) and Kelly's father Mike Tipple are going to climb and summit on Mount Rainier in September 2014! I know....crazy! But its for CHARITY...and our foundation...sooooo heck ya, we will AND can do this! Its all too promote The Determined Parents Foundation, special needs awareness and www.SteptemberNW.org which is going on the whole month of September!

We need a little help raising the funds for the climb. Instead of donating to some random charity where you don't know how the funds will be used...Donate to US and help us raise awareness!


It is a total of approximately $8000.00 or so for what is needed for climb cost, rental of equipment, food and misc items. Anything extra raised at this point will go toward The Determined Parents Foundation!



My costs break down (most of this is a low estimate for cost except the climb and rental fees)
 
Per Climber:
Guided Climb $1326
Rental Fees $350
Other Equipment $450
Food $100
Lodging $120
(need a hotel the day before the climb in Ashford)
Travel to Mt. Rainier $50
Travel Insurance $100-200
Training costs $200 (costs to get to other hiking spots to prepare)
