3000 miles for Kerry

Donation protected
On the 1st February I will be flying to Gran Canaria to take part in the " The Worlds Toughest Rowing Challenge" - Titan: the Atlantic Rowing World Speed Record attempt. The record currently stands at 32 days which we are hopeful to break. We are a team of 8 men who will be rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean on a shift pattern of 4 hours on 4 hours off finishing in Port St Charles, Barbados.
I was looking for a Charity and wanted to be able to see where the money would really help. When I heard about Kerry it just seemed perfect so...
I am undertaking "The Worlds Toughest Rowing Challenge" to raise money for a ReWalk machine for Kerry. Kerry was born with Spina Bifida Occulta with Tethered Cord Syndrome and has had numerous operations throughout her life. She coped really well into adult life travelling and living abroad.Kerry's condition progressed again when she was 23 causing a serious deterioration in her health. During surgical treatment in 2009 she became very ill, which resulted in her losing the use of her legs. Kerry is thankful and grateful for all that has been attempted to help her recover. A ReWalk machine is available that would help to keep her muscles and spine in good health but it costs £50,000. Friends and family have already raised £21,333 so I would really appreciate your support to take Kerry close to or beyond £25,000.
You will be able to track my progress on the row through www.oceanusrowing.com/titanrow
I would really appreciate any donations to help Kerry,

Cheers,
Matt
