When I first built the small backyard meditation hall (Black Moon Zendo) in 1998, everything smelled of new wood. Visitors have come and gone since I first opened it for public meditation periods and now the shingles are starting to breathe their last. What I once might have done on my own is currently beyond my energies and I will have to hire a roofer to reshingle. Given my fixed income these days, I would be grateful for supporting donations.
