A camera upgrade

I currently have a Nikon D60 that's a few years old. I would like to be able to upgrade to a new camera. A new camera would allow me to better capture life in the town I live in. My favorite type of photography is sports action. With many local events at night or indoors, a lot of my pictures are grainy or dark. Photography is my hobby and stress reliever.
