Water is Life... All it takes is US

A hero is defined as a person"”typically a man"”who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. One thing that they all have in common is courage, the courage to look beyond one's own issues or circumstances in order to stand against another's so that they may live. Statistics show that around 700,000 children all around the world die every year from diarrhea caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation; that's nearly 2,000 children a day. After learning this, I discovered that my purpose in life is simply to be a hero to as many people as I can in whatever way I can! With the exception of some young children, people don't view Superman or Spiderman as ideal role models. More people seek this guidance from regular civilians such as you and me, who are aware and understand the severity of their daily struggles.
God has provided me with the opportunity to be a part of a youth group mission trip to Kenya in partnership with the WATERisLIFE organization in May of this year. This will be the first of many projects that I partake in to impact the lives of others all around the world.
During the 10 day trip we will be drilling at least one water well for a village in southern Kenya and hopefully another. Along the way we will be using the WATERisLIFE technology to teach people there how to sustain clean drinking water. In the process we will be building relationships and finding ways to share the truth of the Gospel to them. We will let them know the water from the Kenyan well will leave them thirsting for more, while the Water from the Living Water well will quench their soul's thirst.
