Help Brendine get a handicap van

hello. my name is christie. i have four beautiful daughters. my youngest is 7, her name is brendine. when she had just turned 4. she was very smart, active, silly, loving, always made everyone laugh, and a mama's girl. she was at a family reunion of her biological fathers at a lake and near drown. she was without a pulse or breathing for around 45 minutes before emt arrived and she was taken to the hospital. she was life flown out and in icu for a month. she received a trache and was put on oxygen as well as having multiple procedures done including a part of her left lung removed. after that she was moved to a children's center where she stayed for 2 1/2 years. while there she has had a medicine pump put in her tummy and also had the tendons in her ankles, knees, and hips with plates and screws put in hips. she had her trache removed and is off the oxygen, thank god. all of this is just mentining a few things. she has been home now for 1 year and 1 month. we have a van but its not handicap accessible. because of the different surgeries to her legs and her backbone already weak and starting to bend, she can not sit in her car seat for longer than 20 minutes before she starts to hurt. brendine will never be able to walk, talk, or run and play again. i miss so much about the way she used to be, but thank god everyday that he allowed me to keep my angel longer. we are desperatly asking for help to either buy a nice used handicap van or put a down payment on one so that we will be able to take her to do special things like going to the zoo, take her to the playgrounds, or just get out for a ride without her being in pain. anything will help. a new handicap accessible van is around $40,000 which there is no way we could afford. i have learned a lot in the past 3 1/2 years on this path we are taking. its been a long, hard, happy, and frustrating path, but not near over yet. one thing i want to leave you with is anything can change in as little as a blink of an eye or one second. i rely on the serenity prayer a lot. please hug and kiss your kids all the time and do not take any second or minute for granted. thank you.
