Bradley Childbirth Teacher Training

 

  I have wanted to teach childbirth education for years and now that my children are a little older I would love to get certified as a Bradley Childbirth Instructor. 
   I was able to have a VBAC with my second son Jupiter and go on to have two more VBACs after him due largely to having taken Bradley Childbirth classes.   The experience was fascinating and empowering.  

 

  I would like to attend the Bradley Instructor certification course in June of this year in Seattle.   It is an intensive 4 day course and the goal amount I am trying to raise will cover books, the fee for the course, and hotel for me to stay at the same hotel that the class is held to make it easier to study and attend class. 

 

  My goal is to help new parents learn what the mother's body will be doing during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, including nursing, and how her partner can help and support her.   I will help them learn about being consumers for their childbirth experience. 

 

This will be part of a foundation of services I want to offer down the road including eventual yoga teacher training for all family members and age levels. 

 

  I loved all of my experiences and in part I have my Bradley teacher to thank for that!  I want to serve other women now.
