Russell Silver Syndrome Convention

As most of you know, Caitlin was diagnosed with a rare growth disorder called Russell Silver Syndrome, on July 28th, 2008. She has overcome so many obstacle's that have come her way, while staying the beautiful, caring, sweet girl that we all know and love. On July 10-13, of this year there is a convention in Chicago put on by the MAGIC Foundation, just for Russell Silver Syndrome. We have known about it for sometime, but this year is different. As she grows up, we find ourselves stumped with how to handle certain issues, and there is relatively no information on it because it is so rare and just being researched. Caitlin has also realized she is going to be much smaller than other people and has asked if we can go so she may meet others that are just like her! This convention is filled with presentations by the worlds leading doctors in Russell Silver Syndrome as well as Endocrinology. We hope to learn more on how to manage some of her issues as well as have her meet many kids and as she put it "fit in for once."
