Thank you for taking the time to read this. We are trying to achieve the best for Kayleigh.

Any money raised on here will be given in full to Help raise Kai Duff.

24 year old single mum Kayleigh Duff had terminal cancer. This started in her Colon, spread to her Liver and was then in her Brain. She underwent vigorous chemotherapy and radiotherapy. As well as helping Kayleigh complete her bucket list (including taking her son to Florida and also meeting Tom Hardy) we also wanted to remove any financial strain that Kayleigh and her family had whilst Kayleigh underwent medical treatment.

Kayleigh's biggest worry was financial stability for her 3 year old little boy, Kai. Kayleigh had such a rare genetic cancer gene that unfortunately turned into cancer before anything could be done, despite her having various preventative operations and 6 monthly check ups since the age of just 16 years old.

Due to her ongoing treatment last year, Kayleigh found day to day living too difficult to be on her own, so she moved in to be with her mum, Beverley, who herself is one amazing lady. Kayleigh's biggest frustration was having to watch her son grow up, rather than being a physical part of it. Daily tasks such as running around the garden, or even bathing her son became too difficult for Kayleigh to be a part of.

Due to to the way her cancer had spread and the affects it was having, Kayleigh was in the Pilgrims Hospice for a few weeks. They did an amazing job but Kayleigh decided she wanted to come home.

During Kayleighs final weeks, she was at home receiving palliative care. She was resting and spending as much time as possible with her friends, family and more importantly her gorgeous son.

Our aim is to secure Kai's future financially so that would be one less stress for the family.

Nobody in the family has asked for any help, but that's what makes them so special and makes us more determined to achieve as much as possible.

Kayleighs family are amazing in the way they have all pulled together to help in anyway they can.

We feel very honoured to be a friends of Kayleigh's and her family and it has certainly changed our outlook on life.

Kayleighs biggest wish was to create memories for her Beautiful 3 year old son Kai. She has created a memory box including birthday cards for Kai until he is 21 years old.

Kai now lives with his nanny Bev and although he has all the love and support from so many people, a financial strain will always be there. In January 2015 it was announced that in memory of Kayleigh Duff, she had been awarded Herne Bays 2014 Woman of the Year.

Please help in whatever way you can xxx
