War Resister Sustainment Funds
Donation protected
After deploying to Iraq in 2006 and spending a year as an analyst in Baghdad, my (now EX) husband and I went AWOL, suffering from PTSD. My ex-husband received an other than honorable discharge after he was apprehended in 2010.
I am a war resister. I had returned to Fort Carson last year to be charged for my "crime" of quitting the army, only to be told I was to get no less than a year in prison specially for being an anti war activist.
I have not been charged yet and was suffering under the effects of PTSD and MST in a difficult command climate. Since being threatened repeatefly by my superiors and being told I was being punished for being an activist, I have left again to pursue completing my conscientious objector packet. I am also speaking out against war and militarism in the mean time.
I am a war resister, and I need your help.
Please consider contributing to this fund, which will allow me to survive and thrive, as well as cover any legal fees I run into. Thank you.
