Help me become Nurse Sabrina

my name is sabrina cervantez, l am a nursing student. when l was in elementary school till about the 6th grade i remember going to the local hospitals and singing christmas carols to the patients around the holidays with my girl scout troop. that atmosphere sparked my interest and i just knew i wanted to help people when i grew up. i started out volunteering at nursing homes when i was 16, i loved the elderly and the stories they would tell. i even would bring them christmas gifts. i also volunteered at the local emergency room, there wasn't much for me to do there. i was allowed to transport noncritical patients and hole punch papers, but i was happy to be there. after high school, i attended college for a year and received certificate in advanced health care technician and was able to apply to take the state board exam to be a cna. while waiting to take the boards, i volunteered at a hospital in the post surgical unit. i got to give patients drinks, transport, talk to them, and help them to the bathroom. i was more than thrilled to be given responsibilities that i thought were meaningful to the patient. i passed my boards and started working in the cancer unit, i absolutely loved it. some patients would come in not knowing their own names, not able to feed themselves, and in several weeks would become the most pleasant independent people who could now carry a full conversation. i know this my calling. i decided to go back to school to get my rn/associates degree in nursing. i am currently in my 2nd semester in the nursing program, my third semester will be paid for. but my 4th/final semester will not be. i've earned too many college credits with the combination of the certificate i earned in va, the nursing pre-reqs i earned in texas and the 3 semesters of the actual nursing program in texas. so by my 4th semester i will be ineligible for grants or loans. the money that i am asking for in the form of donations will cover the cost of tuition, books, nursing kits (they have supplies in them in which to practice with such as ivs, foley's, etc.), online practice programs in which the school requires, etc. if you decide to donate, thank you very much. if not, thank you for at least reading my story.
