"I Believe" Teen Moms' Empowerment Conf.

The money will be used to support the "I Believe" Teen Moms Empowerment Conference that is planned for September 20, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The conference will empower, educate. and expose area teen moms to positivity, opportunities and resources. Lifetime mentorships will be established by pairing successful women who were formerly teen moms with today's teen moms.  My partner, Melissa Brassel and I want to break the cycle of poverty, undereducation and lack of positive role models in the lives of our area teen moms.  After the event, all remaining proceeds go to support the establishment of the 22:6 Teen Moms Club as a year round, nonprofit organization that empowers teen moms to live their best lives.
