Courtney's Diabetes Camp

On Feb. 2nd, 2014, Courtney was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). She has since struggled with coming to terms that she will have this disease for the rest of her life.
We as her parents have worked hard to put her in contact with other kids her age that suffer from the disease as well. Our attempts have not produced any results, but we still remain hopeful.
We founds two camps in the area that are specifically for kids with T1D. Our current finances don't put us in a place to afford the camps that cost a bit over $2,000. We're making peace with the new monthly prescription expense of $325 for Courtney's medications. We are hoping that someone can help, so we can send Courtney to camp.
We really want her to feel that she isn't alone, and that there is life after diagnosis!
