Hunter Phifer's Kidney Transplant

Hunter Phifer is a student at Roger's High School in Arkansas. He was born with one kidney, and that one kidney is now failing. He is starting dialysis, and is needing a kidney transplant. As an answer to prayers, a random stranger that is a waitress at a local restaurant has volunteered to be a donor for him....and her blood type is a match! (Praise the Lord!!) She is going through other testing to see if she can be approved to be his donor. What a wonderful woman to offer to do this for a complete stranger! Please pray that this donor is approved, because it could take a long time on the national transplant list. Hunter was just approved for the national kidney transplant waiting list, so he is hoping that God will provide a kidney for him either way. His kidney funtioning at less than 10%.
This kidney transplant is going to be a financial strain on Hunter's parents. After the transplant he will have to be on anti-rejection medicine for the rest of his life. We are trying to raise funds for this wonderful young man and his family. His parents have been selling green rubber bracelets in honor of Hunter's fight, but it is such a slow process at $5.00 a bracelet. Anything you can contribute will help Hunter and his parents to have one less thing to worry about during this stressful journey.
Hunter and his family are good friends of mine. Hunter lights up the room with his wit and sense of humor! They are just praying constantly that God will provide the right donor and funds for his procedure. The cost of this procedure a road to recovery is more than they had ever imagined.
