NB/Jay Berry's Assault Victims Fund

Donation protected
As you probably saw recently on the news, one of our very own was attacked Sunday while attempting to leave work in the North Bend Area. No one should ever have to go through what the victim of Sunday's assault faced.  It has been amazing to see an outpour of love from the community since.  Many people have asked how they can contribute at a time like this.  We as a community and "family" should rally around her and give her the much needed support and understanding that she needs at this very difficult time!

In times like these, victims often aren't given the time needed to recuperate due to financial obligations.  I would like to help empower her to recover by giving her the gift of time through monetary donations.  This will help ease the burden of returning to work to soon after a traumatic event.

Out of respect for her, we are trying to keep this as anonymous as possible.  This is also an invaluable gift to anyone who has been through a violent crime.  Please, no names!  Most people in the valley do know who was attacked, but still just keep it to "general" terms and statements.  The stigma that comes with any kind of violent crime is a rough one and privacy, what little there is these days, helps.

The victim is a very close family friend of ours and we just want to help her out in any way we can.  Lets show her the support and love that she deserves!

Thank you all for sharing this page and if possible donating to help her out!
