Virtually all born to the name of Greer or Grierson, derive from the Griersons of Dumfriesshire. Lag Tower was the 1st home of the Griersons in Scotland. In about 1444, the Griersons of Lag built a strong defensive tower now known as Lag Tower.
At this time the existing Lag Tower ruins are on the POINT OF COLLAPSE, & REPAIR TO KEEP THE STRUCTURE UPRIGHT, IS URGENTLY NEEDED.
The Lag Tower Preservation Trust is a Charitable Trust Company established to receive donations to support the restoration of the Tower.
It is our hope that you will choose to help support the restoration of this important piece of Grierson history so it can be preserved for future generations. No amount is too small.
