Greetings All!
I am starting this crowdfunding campaign so that I can use my talents for a great cause. The amazing organization Girls Going Global is looking for a photographer to capture memorable moments of 10 inner city black girls from Philadelphia, Atlanta and Washington, DC as they take their 1st international voyage to Costa Rica where they will take Spanish lessons, cooking classes, volunteer at a local orphange plus more and I am honored that I get to participate in such an amazing intiative for young girls!!!!!!!!
Details
When: July 25th - 30th
Where: Turrialba, Costa Rica
Cost: $1200 including RT flight, lodging for 5 nights and activities.
Last year, in April I took my 1st international trip to Costa Rica to volunteer at a local orphanage teaching English to children from broken families. I came back from that journey a changed woman. My eyes have since been opened to the endless possibilities this world has to offer. That trip taught me how blessed I am, how many people in the world could use a helping hand and that I should be the one to offer mine to pull someone else up. Coming off of a successful GoFundMe campaign last year where my family, friends and co-workers graciously donated to help me achieve a long standing dream of mine, I am back again asking for your help in keeping my dream alive. I want to prove to my son, those who know me and those who don't that it's never too late to pursue ones dream and that they do in fact come true with persistance, hard work and dedication.
*Any amount over my target of $1200 will be split, 1/2 will be donated to GGG and the other 1/2 will be donated to the orphanage we will be volunteering at daily for supplies and such.
