We couldn't make it without family

Hello, My name is Jacob Laster. I am an 18 year old Army Soldier. A thing to add to that list is a survivor. Almost a year ago I left to go to BCT, I was two weeks from graduation. I went to sick call one morning and the rest of my life changed. I was first diagnosed with Lymphoma and Spots of Liver cancer and over 2000ml of cancerous fluid in my right lung. The next day i was also Diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I had over 88% Cancer cells in my body and had less than two weeks to live. The doctors told me the chances werent good that i survive longer than two weeks. I went through the hardest time of my life and survived 6 weeks of body recking chemotherapy. Since then i've been going through treatment, Each and every week With up to three different chemotherapy drugs and have been sic

ker than ever. I rely on everyone around me, but mostly my family and still struggling with bills and hardships. My mother and father are both 20+ year Army veterans that saved money for a happy retirement but instead had to drive from Central Arkansas to South GA every week to stay with me, bathe me, feed me, and essentially keep me alive. I am on Homebound status which mean i cannot work for two more years and as such i have no money to pay for anything. My parents are having to buy everything for me and my health.



It's not required to donate anything, But please spread this to any family that is dealing with cancer so they can know that with a loving family nothing is impossible and we all have to stick together through tough times.
