Funded! Help Aaron Recover Stolen Gear
Donation protected
On April 7th, Aaron Bauer's camera bag containing 10,000 dollars in equipment was stolen from a car in Columbus, Ohio.
List of lost gear: Canon 5DMkIII with a Canon 24-105 L lens, Canon 50mm 1.4 lens, GoPro H3, Apple Macbook Pro, IPad, SD cards, batteries, shutter releases, flashlights, and the camera bag.
*Update -April 12th* Aaron will be able to buy back everything that was stolen except for the camera bag, some flashlights and some clothes which are gone. It will cost him $1,600. I reset the goal for $1,800 to cover the cost of replacing the bag, flashlights, and clothes. All of your donations are going toward a full recovery of everything he lost. This is a best case scenario all around! Thanks again everyone!

**Update!** -April 11th- Aaron received word from the detective and 4 of the most expensive items have shown up at a pawn shop! The 5DmkIII, GoPro, Macbook, and IPad are all there which is fantastic news. He still doesn't know about the bag, lenses, etc.
The unfortunate catch here is that the law in Ohio states that Aaron has to pay the pawn shop what they paid to the thief which he was told would be $1,600. At this point in time, Aaron is at work and asked me to get the word out. He plans to get to the pawn shop tomorrow and get all of the details straigtened out. Right now the funds are still vital to his recovery so keep the donations coming and we'll update everyone as soon as possible!

We had just finished an amazing presentation and workshop on light painting at the University of Richmond. We have dreams of a business in educating the public on how to light paint. We're still in the process of developing our social profiles online and contacting universities but our ambition remains true.
I have known Aaron for 20 years so he is like a brother to me. We have countless memories and always know how to have a good time (up until we pass out).
Light painting photography is more than a hobby to Aaron, it's his life. Help him regain his tools of the trade so he can get back to creating and educating.
Thank You!
