Help Me Make My Dream Come True!

Hey all!
Sorry about that cheesy title. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Josh Brady. The best way to explain myself is that I am, well, me. I'm multi-faceted, ambitious, goofy (very much so), and have many dreams that I hope will come true. (This is starting to sound like a dating profile- my apologies).
My biggest dream is to be an actor. Ever since I was young, I loved to perform. It's the only place where I feel like I'm really myself, and is one of the few things that makes me happy anymore. I've acted in over 40 productions in the past 10 years, and written a handful of plays that have been performed locally as well. Many say I have a penchant for comedy- both physical and creative, though I enjoy drama just as much. I just love to make people feel things- laughter, sadness, happiness, you name it. I love well-rounded characters, and attempt to thrust myself completely into all characters I inhabit, whether that means changing my physicality, voice, accent, whatever! I've even been fortunate enough to be given multiple awards for some of the roles I've played- so hey, I can't be that bad!
I'm currently signed with the I&I Agency in Kansas City, MO. They have been amazing as far as encouraging me to follow my dream and have gotten me opportunities and connections that I'd never have been afforded elsewhere.
Back in October, I attended the Global Stars Network Convention, which is a chance for budding actors and models to show their stuff for managers and agents from all across the US. I'm SO lucky to say that I was quite successful, having nabbed 2 scholarships for on-camera acting classes, a $10,000 scholarship to the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, and won the Best Overall Male Actor award.
I was also fortunate enough to obtain multiple connections with managers and agents across the US that are interested in signing me, and sending me off on auditions. Through talking with both my and other agencies, we're attempting to send me to New York this August to begin auditions for pilot season and beyond. The current plan is a 2-3 month stay, but if things turn out well (fingers crossed!), the stay may extend.
As most of you know, travel and housing is expensive. In order to travel to New York, find and keep a place to stay, and travel to and from auditions (not to mention eat), I'll need money. My family isn't very well off- we barely make ends meet as is. I recently beat cancer, and the medical bills are still piled up high. I've even picked up extra hours at work lately to help pay the bills. I'm hoping to be able to set aside a few dollars here and there in order to pay for at least some of my own expenses.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I can't pass it up. If any of you can donate anything, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to me. Even if you can't, if you can share this with someone who may be able to, that would be even better! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this over. Every pair of eyes that reads this is making a huge difference. No matter what you decide, I wish you all the best of luck in your lives and in your dreams.
Josh
