AnnVan Skatepark

Annvan skatepark has been here for over 10 years now, but due to the harsh east coast winters the main side that the town build years ago is now unskateable due to the ground being way to rough. So a few years ago the town paved just the other half of the lot which had nothing on it. That's when Prime Skate Shop donated a Box and a Manual Pad for the skatepark and got a couple flat bars there to have something for people to skate. A few years later we've started building our own ramps at the park out of concrete with a bunch of homies that are down to help. In the last two years we've gotten so much built at the park and fundraisered so much money to beable to build these things. Now so many more skateboarders come to Hillsborough now from all over the east coast just to skate the skatepark in this town. In the last year we've done two fundraisers at the park to raise money for more concrete to continue making the park better for all the kids to have somewhere to go when they want to skate instead of having them in the streets where they can get yelled at or threatened with tickets for just skateboarding. We also have a donation box at Prime for the park and all the money goes right to park whether it's for building new ramps or fixing old ones.
