In a Nut~Shell Fund

Im looking for help with daily living expenses while I fight my on going battle with stage 4 cancer. I was diagnosed on 10/2008. Happily married with 2 beautiful children (Brea 14 and Tommy 10 almost 11). Due to my early age diagnosis (29) and not being able to return to work after Tommy being born....my social security income is very limited. I do recieve Medicare,but somewhat over qualify for Medicaid (having to meet a certain "Share" every month). If I do not meet this "Share" every month,Im then responsible for the 20% that Medicare does not pay. 2 years ago,I was pulled into the financial counselors office at my oncology center and was told I wasnt meeting my "Share" and would have to pay out of pocket for my weekly infusions and blood work. At that point,my family and I had to make some very drastic changes in order for me to "Stay around". These changes have put such a financial strain on my family. I have searched for various "help",only to learn funds are very limited to none. Hearing/seeing the words that Breast Cancer is now "common". Daily needs are racking up...so,Ive worked up my nerves to ask for help. We purchased a trailer to live in so our rent was a little more affordable,but it needs work. Im asking for help for various living expenses such as...home repairs,car repairs, car insurance, out of pocket medical expenses for my children and husband (most of mine are covered but not all), and my childrens needs. ANY amount would help my family and I. And we all thank you in advance from the bottoms of our hearts. Much Love~Shanna
