Scholarship for Social Justice Leaders

NCBI leaders bring skills and awareness to end prejudice and mistreatment in schools and communities -- around race, gender, sexual orietation, socio-economic class, disability, age and more. Our dedicated volunteers include high school students and community members who want to make a difference.  We would like your help to provide scholarships for local high school students to attend the Diversity Leadership Training on Sept. 19 & 20. In this 2-day training, students from 6 or more schools in Monterey and Santa Cruz counties will join NCBI teams in their schools to facilitate diversity and inclusion training to their peers. These young leaders will also act as resources on their campuses when diversity-related issues arise. 

Our schools and communities will benefit from the skills and knowledge that NCBI leaders bring. Please help us support the growth and development of our outstanding members and move our work forward to end discrimination and mistreatment based on social identity. Thank you!
