Dear friends of Utterback,
Please help us reach our destination of attending the Global Finals of Destination Imagination in Knoxville, Tennessee in May, 2014!
The Destination Imagination program encourages teams of learners to have fun, take risks, focus and frame challenges while incorporating STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), the arts and service learning.
Destination Imagination (DI) is a non-profit, volunteer-led, cause-driven organization.
One of the Utterback teams, The Fantastic Watermalones, won 2nd place at the state competition on March 29, 2014 and has been invited to participate in the Global Finals. We would like to show the world the talent, imagination, and creativity of our Utterback students by sending this team to represent us.
It takes a great deal of funding to get to Tennessee. We would very much appreciate it if you could make a contribution to help us with our goal of taking six students to the competition. Contributions of any size are greatly appreciated.
