9/11 Remembered

Donation protected
9/11 Remembered  is a non profit 501c3 corporation. We operate and travel through sponsorship and donations. Our mission is to bring our 9/11 memorial to all 1400 memorials created with "WTC Steel".  9/11 did not end in 2001. Thousands have died since 9/11 from cancer and illness attributed to exposure at Ground Zero.  There are over a 100k being treated today, and over 10k have been diagnosed with cancer.
Join our effort to honor these individuals, to keep their memories alive and in the forefront of Americas conscience for decades to come. Every $ gets us another mile down the road.
Thank you for your consideration and support.

I began 9/11 Remembered for a number of reasons... The biggest is so we as a nation may never forget the day that changed the world forever. After the events that occurred September 11, 2001, I volunteered at Ground Zero with my best friend Porkchop. The cleanup took a total of nine months before every person left, hand in hand.

The attacks caused unbelievable despair across America and much of the world...and yet, it also created a sense of unity. The feeling that:

"We. Are. One."

The memories of Ground Zero are seared into the minds of anyone who responded to "the call" as well as those who witnessed it from afar. 9/11/2001 will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN . We will always be united in our work to be there for each other as a Nation and a Family who looks out for each other in our most dire times of need.
It is important that we tell the stories of 9/11/2001. We want to continue to bring "your words" about that day into a collection of memories and experiences that can be shared with everyone who visits this Traveling Memorial.

Unity is at the heart of the origin story of 9/11 Remembered.
Fast forward to September 11, 2011 - The National September 11 Memorial was completed and open for victims families. The following day the public was permitted to visit the memorial. May 21, 2014 the 9/11 Museum was officially opened and finally November 3, 2014 the Freedom Tower opened it's doors. America waited a very long time to memorialize those lost on 9/11...but I believe the wait was worth it. After countless funerals, memorials, and charitable events over the course of the years, I still get chills when I go to the site.

All of America deserves to see this memorial...

It's my mission to do just that. We want everyone to be compelled by our 9/11 Traveling Memorial to make the journey to the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York City and experience the intensity and the magnitude of this beautiful Memorial and Museum.
