Help the homeless in Chicago

A few weeks back I was wandering around the city, it was a bit late. I was near the downtown area and as I walked I realized that there were tons of homeless people out, in the blistering cold with hardly any food, some with few things to keep them warm!

I realized then that homelessness has been AND is becoming a bigger problem not only in Chicago but throughout the world. And it's time that we did something to help those that are also part of the community but often forgotten!!

So, what I'm proposing is, let's raise money to purchase items to help those in need, be it through making care packages prepared with food or by purchasing items to keep them warm in the winter time!

I know that there are many other forms and ways to help but I think that one step at a time, we can really make a difference! So please, let's help those in need!! Let's do something nice for those whom are forgotten way too often!!

Any contribution amount help!! And so does spreading the word :)! The more people that know the better the chances of raising more money!

P.S.: If this project is successful we will be trying it in other cities as well!

P.S.2: care packages will include gloves and beanies for the cold, water, other items such as granola bars, and foods that aren't easily perishable. The average price per care package has yet to be determined as it will be based on how much money is raised in total.
