Bring Tion's Body Home

Donation protected
On Saturday, May 3, 2014, 25 year old Tion Casterman of Grand Rapids, Michigan went missing from his home in Atlanta, Georgia. Tion religiously kept in close contact with his family and friends in Grand Rapids, MI, Evansville, IN, and Nashville, TN as well as his friends in the Atlanta, GA area. When no one had heard from or seen Tion, they immediately contacted the police department. His family from Grand Rapids, Evansville, and Nashville then made the trip to Georgia to canvas the area and search for Tion on foot.

On Thursday, May 8, 2014, Tion Casterman's body was found behind an abandoned club in West Blocton, Alabama. He was murdered by his roomate, who then stole Tion's car and transported Tion's body nearly 200 miles away to Alabama where he dumped Tion's body behind the abandoned Old Continental Club. We are seeking help to *BRING TION'S BODY HOME* so that his mother, Gwen Casterman, can lay her son to rest in a proper fashion. As soon as Gwen and the rest of the family were contacted that Tion was missing, they used the little bit of money they had to travel down to Georgia to pass out fliers and canvas the area of his home to look for him. Our goal is to raise at least $6,000.00. It will cost Gwen $1,600.00 dollars just to transport Tion's body back to Grand Rapids, MI from Atlanta, GA. The remaining $4,400.00 will be used to cover funeral and burial costs.

An untimely death, let alone a murder, is something that no one is ever fully prepared for both emotionally and financially. I'm sure you can imagine the heartache Gwen has been enduring as only three days shy of Mother's Day was when she learned of her son's murder. Let's try to restore some peace in Gwen and the entire Casterman and Butler family's lives. ANYTHING will help! Whether you have a donation of .50 cents, $1.00, $5.00, $20.00 or more, ANY LITTLE BIT WILL HELP THE CAUSE, IT ALL ADDS UP!! Right now, our main goal is to first and foremost *BRING TION'S BODY HOME* to his mother, Gwen. Absolutely ANYTHING you can do within your means would be greatly appreciated beyond belief.

Thank you all for at least taking the time to read Tion's story. And to those who choose to help out and donate, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness during this difficult time is appreciated to the fullest degree. Tion was an amazing person, a loving son, an awesome friend. He helped people without hesitation and pushed himself and others toward success.
