You can help The Blue Paper sponsor 11 students from low-income families [who live at the Housing Authority's Porter Place] to learn how to sail.
These kids, aged 8-13, live right down the street from the Center and they are so excited about learning how to sail!
Key West's Community Sailing Center has agreed to set up a special 7-week after-school program just for these children! The first day of class is Thursday March 3, 2016.
The Sailing Center has been paid in full by The Blue Paper publishers [break even cost is $135 per student].
Blue Paper readers have already donated $505!
