Bandit Has 2 Broken Legs! NEED HELP

Bandit, a sweet & loving 6 month old terrier puppy, was saved from the Medical Building at Downey Shelter by Wags and Walks on Jan 20, 2016. Bandit has two broken legs which require an intricate surgery followed by a long recovery.

The shelter and the vet agreed that the the breaks happened recently and may have been from an abusive situation and neglect.

Both the radius and ulna are broken in both front legs. Because Bandit is so young and tiny, he will need mini metal plates implanted to stabilize the broken bones (made for human fingers!) The plates are needed to get excellent alignment and compression for optimal healing.


Bandit will have a long and rough road of recovery ahead of him. We are lucky to say we have a dedicated and committed medical team and foster who will help Bandit with a full recovery!
