Naujan is a small town located in the province of Oriental, Mindoro in the Philippines.
December 15 when Typhoon Nona (International name Melor) devastated the whole town.
While the casualty was only 3, more than 42,000 were left homeless. These are the marginalized rural poor whose daily subsistence depend on their land, on which crops were also left useless.

Funds will be used to provide basic goods to give them time to recover. Funds will be used to help rebuild schools that were also destroyed. Funds will be used to provide a cheap alternative source of power, since power was shut because of the typhoon and will take months to normalize.
More importantly, funds will be used to provide hope, that yes, someone somewhere is willing to give a helping hand.
