Let's just be frank about it, commercial radio sucks!  It's just the same lame songs on repeat all day. 

Ever wonder who chooses which singers and rappers get airplay on the radio?  It used to be the DJ, but these days commercial radio is big business, with spots on the playlist for sale. 

Beatminerz Radio is the home of the DJ where DJs are free to choose their own playlists.  The DJ is the cornerstone of Hip-Hop and the driving force behind spreading new music.  This homogenized commercial radio playlist that dominates the airwaves, shuts down doors to local and upcoming artists; leaving the listening audience to search for new music on the Internet.

The time has come to reclaim the airwaves!!!  DJ's, Artists, and Hip-Hop Lovers have been creating their own spaces where they can truly enjoy the music of their culture without the imposition of the tastes and styles of outsiders.  No more watered-down Hip-Hop and celebrations of mediocre talent.  We reject the notion that we must go to these sterile, corporate-owned radio stations for our music.  We are bringing freedom of choice back to Hip-Hop.

Beatminerz Radio is expanding our offline space and enhancing our online presence.  We have only been able to get this far with the support from hundreds of thousands of dedicated Hip-Hop enthusiasts, tastemakers, and loyalists and we need more.
