A group of volunteers and small community organizations in NC are organizing to bring Dr. Sandra Steingraber to speak in the Triangle on April 4th!

Who is Dr. Sandra Steingraber?
Sandra is a PhD biologist, internationally renowned author and poet, cancer patient, persistent activist and ecologist. She has been a force of nature in the fight against fracking in New York state. In her talk, she will discuss strategies for resistance against corporate dominion and the continued poisoning of our communities.
Why do we need funds?
We are raising money to finish covering the costs of the event and Sandra's visit.
What are the perks of donating as an individual?
All contributions are 100% tax-deductible! Also, everyone who donates will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of seats at a small private lunch event we're hosting with Sandra the day of the event in Chapel Hill. Donors will also have an opportunity to reserve a seat at the main speaking event that evening (limited reserved seating available, first-come, first-serve).
Info for organizational sponsors
Contributing groups who give $50 or more will be invited to have tabling space at the event to share information with attendees about their organization's work (limited tabling space available, first-come, first-serve). Organizations who sponsor at $100 or more will also receive acknowledgement on the printed materials at the event. Groups who contribute $250 or more will be acknowledged both on the printed materials and during the speaker program.
